A design based on Joan of Arc's family crest, asserting the trans community's long-lasting history. The coat of arms depicts a sword, a crown and two fleurs-de-lis. ⚔️


Joan of Arc (1412 - 1431) is a patron saint of France. Claiming to be acting under divine guidance, they became a military leader who transcended gender roles and gained recognition as a saviour of France. After a successful campaign of battles, they were arrested by the British army. At their trial they vowed 'for nothing in the world will I swear not to arm myself and put on a man's dress.' They were sentenced to death and burnt at the stake aged 19.
